In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist and Spanish Art auction, the work Le Rêve D'Une Croyante sold for GBP 14,400.00 (€ 20,836.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gaston Casimir Saint-Pierre; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot DIANA AND ACTAEON sold at auction in December 2020 with the realized price of EUR 32,760.00.
