A top price for Gastineau Massamba - as previously expected
The work Symphofolies Des Canons, 2015 by Gastineau Massamba was sold in the African Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,936.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Symphofolies Des Canons, 2015 is the most expensive artwork by Gastineau Massamba that we have observed at auctions so far.
