Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 5,975.00 (€ 4,506.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gary R. Swanson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Big Horn Sheep, which sold at auction in March 2003 for USD 11,950.00 (€ 10,963.30).
