In the The Collection of André Leon Talley: Online auction, the work Those Boots! sold for USD 5,292.00 (€ 4,991.51) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Garrett Rittenberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of James Baldwin, which sold at auction in February this year for USD 11,970.00 (€ 11,290.32).

Für andere Arbeiten von Garrett Rittenberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of James Baldwin beobachtet, die im Februar diesen Jahres für USD 11.970,00 (€ 11.290,32) versteigert wurde.
