Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Paesaggio al tramonto by Gaetano Fasanotti for EUR 900.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gaetano Fasanotti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scena di vita sulla spiaggia, 1874 in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 6,448.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paesaggio al tramonto von Gaetano Fasanotti für EUR 900,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaetano Fasanotti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scena di vita sulla spiaggia, 1874 im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.448,00.
