Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Vulcano crater by Gabriëlle Ferrand for EUR 480.00. This price was achieved in the auction Indonesian Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gabriëlle Ferrand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A collection of drawings depicting Indonesian subjects in September 2006 with an auction result of EUR 4,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Vulcano crater von Gabriëlle Ferrand für EUR 480,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Indonesian Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gabriëlle Ferrand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A collection of drawings depicting Indonesian subjects im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.200,00.
