Auction result fails to reach estimate
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Scenery from Sostrup Castle by Gabriel Jensen for DKK 2,100.00 (€ 281.38). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gabriel Jensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of the artist's daughter Ellen knitting in March this year with an auction result of DKK 8,500.00 (€ 1,140.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Scenery from Sostrup Castle von Gabriel Jensen für DKK 2.100,00 (€ 281,38) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gabriel Jensen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of the artist's daughter Ellen knitting im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 8.500,00 (€ 1.140,68).
