Auction result well in line with expectations
The work D.A.S. 1974 capas de pintura by Gabriel de la Mora was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,838.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Gabriel de la Mora have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2014 the work 25,798 was auctioned for USD 40,625.00 (€ 32,662.00).
