In July 2012 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work A peeled lemon, open peach, grapes and cherries, with a butterfly, on a partly-draped table by G. van Deynum. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 34,850.00 (€ 44,389.53), 39% above the upper estimate.
