Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work “Landevej i Sne” by Fritz Syberg for DKK 1,750.00 (€ 1,529.45). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fritz Syberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Landskab - Uroligt vejr i Juli” in March this year with an auction result of DKK 140,000.00 (€ 18,787.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Landevej i Sne” von Fritz Syberg für DKK 1.750,00 (€ 1.529,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fritz Syberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Landskab - Uroligt vejr i Juli” im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 140.000,00 (€ 18.787,71).
