In September 2002 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work A Forest Clearing with Figures by Fritz Ebel. The price achieved of USD 4,541.00 (€ 4,596.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Forest Clearing with Figures is the most expensive artwork by Fritz Ebel that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Forest Clearing with Figures von Fritz Ebel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.541,00 (€ 4.596,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A Forest Clearing with Figures das teuerste Kunstwerk von Fritz Ebel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
