Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Schiphol-Parijs retour by Fritz Behrendt for EUR 300.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fritz Behrendt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work St. Johannes met beker, which sold at auction in September 2006 for EUR 1,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Schiphol-Parijs retour von Fritz Behrendt für EUR 300,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fritz Behrendt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit St. Johannes met beker beobachtet, die im September 2006 für EUR 1.200,00 versteigert wurde.
