Auction result well in line with expectations
The work German Composition No. 56 by Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart was sold in the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The price achieved of GBP 146,500.00 (€ 184,190.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Other works by Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work „Composition No. 42“. was auctioned for EUR 350,000.00.

Die Arbeit German Composition No. 56 von Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 146.500,00 (€ 184.190,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Friedrich Vordemberge-Gildewart konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit „Composition No. 42“. für EUR 350.000,00 versteigert.
