Die Arbeit Der Gebirgsbach Ache im Ötztal. von Friedrich Preller the Younger kam im Juni 2021 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Friedrich Preller the Younger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tivoli im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.600,00.
