This artwork by Freek van den Berg achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2005. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work A still life with a milk bottle sold for EUR 5,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Freek van den Berg; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Place de la Concorde, Paris sold at auction in January 2005 with the realized price of EUR 7,800.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Freek van den Berg erzielte im Januar 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit A still life with a milk bottle für EUR 5.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Freek van den Berg; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Place de la Concorde, Paris im Januar 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 7.800,00.
