Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Switches" by Fredrik Wretman was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 5,400.00 (€ 457.32). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fredrik Wretman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Goatrans" in October last year with an auction result of SEK 90,000.00 (€ 8,235.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Switches" von Fredrik Wretman im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 5.400,00 (€ 457,32) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fredrik Wretman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Goatrans" im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 90.000,00 (€ 8.235,35).
