Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2019 Christies in London held the auction European Art: 19th Century & Orientalist Art, which included the work A winter landscape with wood faggots by Frederik Marinus Kruseman. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,411.20) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik Marinus Kruseman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Winter Landscape With Skating Figures Near A Castle in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 516,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion European Art: 19th Century & Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A winter landscape with wood faggots von Frederik Marinus Kruseman zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.411,20) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederik Marinus Kruseman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Skating Figures Near A Castle im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 516.000,00.
