In November 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Pan Of Rohallion by Frederick William MacMonnies. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 23,669.76) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick William MacMonnies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nathan Hale in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 271,500.00 (€ 241,634.03).
