Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in London held the auction Travel and Vintage Posters, which included the work Burnham Beeches By Motor Bus by Frederick Pegram. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 746.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Frederick Pegram have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Virginia Water By Motor Bus was auctioned for GBP 812.50 (€ 970.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Travel and Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Burnham Beeches By Motor Bus von Frederick Pegram zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 746,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Frederick Pegram konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2010 die Arbeit Virginia Water By Motor Bus für GBP 812,50 (€ 970,94) versteigert.
