Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Frederick Leslie Kenett achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2015. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Spiral sold for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 7,258.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Frederick Leslie Kenett; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Torso sold at auction in March 2015 with the realized price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,505.05).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Frederick Leslie Kenett erzielte im März 2015 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Spiral für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 7.258,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Frederick Leslie Kenett; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Torso im März 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.505,05).
