A top price for Frederick Hall - as previously expected
The work Old Mother Hubbard by Frederick Hall was sold in the British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,148.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Old Mother Hubbard is the most expensive artwork by Frederick Hall that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Old Mother Hubbard von Frederick Hall wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 31.148,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Old Mother Hubbard das teuerste Kunstwerk von Frederick Hall, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
