The work English coastal scene by Frederick Hall was worth SEK 200,000.00 (€ 19,918.23) to a buyer in December 2020. This price was achieved in the auction Important Winter Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of SEK 50,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Frederick Hall; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Old Mother Hubbard sold at auction in May 2012 with the realized price of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 31,148.90).
