Auction result fails to reach estimate
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Komposition i grå ramme”, 1970 by Frede Schilling for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.37). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frede Schilling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work “La ville/Byen”, which sold at auction in February this year for DKK 4,200.00 (€ 564.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Komposition i grå ramme”, 1970 von Frede Schilling für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Frede Schilling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit “La ville/Byen” beobachtet, die im Februar diesen Jahres für DKK 4.200,00 (€ 564,12) versteigert wurde.
