Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In October this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Fun 'n FrolicsPaintings From the Estate of Fred Yates, which included the work La Famille Tatouisme by Fred Yates. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 896.00 (€ 1,028.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Yates achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair of Still Lifes in October this year with an auction result of GBP 14,080.00 (€ 16,167.75).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Fun 'n FrolicsPaintings From the Estate of Fred Yates durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Famille Tatouisme von Fred Yates zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 896,00 (€ 1.028,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Yates erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Pair of Still Lifes im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.080,00 (€ 16.167,75).
