Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An elegant lady in purple by Frans Verhas was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frans Verhas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La collectionneuse au kimono vert in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,615.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit An elegant lady in purple von Frans Verhas kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frans Verhas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La collectionneuse au kimono vert im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.615,71).
