Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Washing in the courtyard by Frans Simons was sold in the Interiors auction at Christies in New York in February 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,451.28). Admittedly, works by Frans Simons have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A beautiful reflection in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 12,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Washing in the courtyard von Frans Simons wurde im Februar 2015 in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.451,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frans Simons auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A beautiful reflection im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.000,00.
