Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, which included the work View Of Amalfi by Franz Richard Unterberger. The price achieved of EUR 17,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Richard Unterberger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rio Tiorado, Venice in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 120,000.00 (€ 177,847.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Of Amalfi von Franz Richard Unterberger zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 17.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Richard Unterberger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rio Tiorado, Venice im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 120.000,00 (€ 177.847,58).
