Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bonhams held the auction Home & InteriorsCollections, which included the work On the lagoon, Venice by Franz Richard Unterberger. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,375.00 (€ 5,774.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Richard Unterberger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rio Tiorado, Venice in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 120,000.00 (€ 177,847.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Home & InteriorsCollections durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the lagoon, Venice von Franz Richard Unterberger zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.375,00 (€ 5.774,46) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Richard Unterberger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rio Tiorado, Venice im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 120.000,00 (€ 177.847,58).
