Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Austrian Rio Dei Ognissanti With Santa Maria Del Rosario, Venice by Franz Richard Unterberger was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 92,521.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Franz Richard Unterberger have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2005 the work Rio Tiorado, Venice was auctioned for GBP 120,000.00 (€ 177,847.58).
