Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Houses Framed By Trees by Franz Kobell for GBP 688.00 (€ 934.27). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Kobell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ideale Landschaft bei aufziehendem Gewitter. in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Houses Framed By Trees von Franz Kobell für GBP 688,00 (€ 934,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Kobell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ideale Landschaft bei aufziehendem Gewitter. im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
