Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work View Of The Via Mala, With A Coach And Horses And An Artist Sketching by Franz Nadorp. The price achieved of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,308.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Franz Nadorp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Macbeth und Banquo treffen auf die Hexen. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 19,375.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.308,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden.
