Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The interior of the Vatican, Rome by Franz Heinrich was sold in the British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper auction at Christies in London in January 2003. The price achieved of GBP 705.00 (€ 1,079.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Franz Heinrich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Sala dell'Iliade in the Galleria Palatina at the Palazzo Pitti, Florence in January 2004 with an auction result of USD 7,767.50 (€ 6,237.95).

Die Arbeit The interior of the Vatican, Rome von Franz Heinrich wurde im Januar 2003 in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 705,00 (€ 1.079,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Heinrich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Sala dell'Iliade in the Galleria Palatina at the Palazzo Pitti, Florence im Januar 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.767,50 (€ 6.237,95).
