A top price for Franz Gräßel - as previously expected
The work Am Ententeiche: Ducks in a Pont by Franz Gräßel was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2010. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Am Ententeiche: Ducks in a Pont is the most expensive artwork by Franz Gräßel that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Am Ententeiche: Ducks in a Pont von Franz Gräßel wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Am Ententeiche: Ducks in a Pont das teuerste Kunstwerk von Franz Gräßel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
