It achieved a price of NLG 16,450.00 (€ 7,198.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Admittedly, works by Frans Langeveld have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Skaters On The Brink, Laren in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 43,500.00.

Die Arbeit View of the Singel, Amsterdam, with the Koepelkerk beyond von Frans Langeveld kam im Januar 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von NLG 16.450,00 (€ 7.198,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frans Langeveld auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Skaters On The Brink, Laren im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.500,00.
