This artwork by Frans Langeveld achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2009. In the Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures auction, the work Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, Amsterdam, with the Royal Palace at the right sold for EUR 15,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frans Langeveld - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Skaters On The Brink, Laren, which sold at auction in November 2013 for EUR 43,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Frans Langeveld erzielte im September 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, Amsterdam, with the Royal Palace at the right für EUR 15.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Frans Langeveld mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Skaters On The Brink, Laren beobachtet, die im November 2013 für EUR 43.500,00 versteigert wurde.
