In the Nineteen to Now, art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries, including Topographical Observations, African and Indonesian Pictures auction, the work Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal, Amsterdam, with the Royal Palace at the right sold for EUR 15,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frans Langeveld - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Skaters On The Brink, Laren, which sold at auction in November 2013 for EUR 43,500.00.
