Sold at the lower estimate price
In November 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Frans Krajcberg. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,663.16) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frans Krajcberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre - 1967 in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 181,500.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Frans Krajcberg zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.663,16) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frans Krajcberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1967 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 181.500,00.
