Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Frans Kannik was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 3,000.00 (€ 402.75). Admittedly, works by Frans Kannik have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Erotic composition in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,200.00 (€ 2,796.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Frans Kannik im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 3.000,00 (€ 402,75) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frans Kannik auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Erotic composition im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.200,00 (€ 2.796,71).
