The work Britishzara, A Dancing Girl by Frank Markham Skipworth was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2011. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 22,299.86) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Britishzara, A Dancing Girl is the most expensive artwork by Frank Markham Skipworth that we have observed at auctions so far.
