In January 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Drouot vente généraliste atelier Bizette, which included the work L'Escorial by Françoise Bizette. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 99.00 65% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Françoise Bizette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Provence in January 2010 with an auction result of EUR 1,053.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 65 % übertroffen
Im Januar 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Drouot vente généraliste atelier Bizette durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Escorial von Françoise Bizette zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 99,00 und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Françoise Bizette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Provence im Januar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.053,00.
