The »bidding war« ended at EUR 136.00 70% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Françoise Bizette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Provence in January 2010 with an auction result of EUR 1,053.00.

Die Arbeit Approche de la nuit von Françoise Bizette wurde im Januar 2010 in der Auktion Drouot vente généraliste atelier Bizette bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 136,00 und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Françoise Bizette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Provence im Januar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.053,00.
