Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Singe Alternatif SIII by François-Xavier Lalanne was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250,000.00 (€ 1,454,784.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François-Xavier Lalanne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'RHINOCRÉTAIRE I', PIÈCE UNIQUE, 1964 in October this year with an auction result of EUR 18,335,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Singe Alternatif SIII von François-Xavier Lalanne kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250.000,00 (€ 1.454.784,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François-Xavier Lalanne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'RHINOCRÉTAIRE I', PIÈCE UNIQUE, 1964 im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.335.000,00.
