A top price for François Thango
In May last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction African Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre, Circa 60-70 by François Thango. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,560.00 31% above the upper estimate. With this result, Sans Titre, Circa 60-70 is even the most expensive work of art by François Thango that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion African Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, Circa 60-70 von François Thango zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.560,00 und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Sans Titre, Circa 60-70 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von François Thango, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
