Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2010 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection de Madame Darthea Speyer, une Américaine à Paris (Vente Sans Prix de Réserve), which included the work Compositions by François Stahly. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 412.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Stahly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Colonne croissance in July 2010 with an auction result of EUR 43,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2010 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection de Madame Darthea Speyer, une Américaine à Paris (Vente Sans Prix de Réserve) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Compositions von François Stahly zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 412,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Stahly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Colonne croissance im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.000,00.
