In January 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Three Allegorical Studies Of Abundance, Agriculture And Science, Mounted On A Design For The Ceiling Of The Salle Du Conseil D'Etat, In The Tuileries Palace by François Gérard for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,036.32). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Gérard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baronportrait Of Joachim Napoléon Murat, King Of Naples And Of The Two Sicilies in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 739,500.00.
