The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,919.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Gérard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baronportrait Of Joachim Napoléon Murat, King Of Naples And Of The Two Sicilies in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 739,500.00.

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.919,02) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François Gérard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baronportrait Of Joachim Napoléon Murat, King Of Naples And Of The Two Sicilies im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 739.500,00.
