In December 2016 Artcurial held the auction Sale to benefit Art For Autism Contemporary & Urban Art, which included the work Confidence, 2016 by François Mendras. The result of EUR 500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 501.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François Mendras - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September this year for EUR 1,254.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Sale to benefit Art For Autism Contemporary & Urban Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Confidence, 2016 von François Mendras zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 501,00. Für andere Arbeiten von François Mendras mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für EUR 1.254,00 versteigert wurde.
