A top price for François-Louis Lanfant - as previously expected
In December 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, 19th Century Sculptures, which included the work Le Retour Des Champs by François-Louis Lanfant. The price achieved of EUR 4,845.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Le Retour Des Champs is the most expensive artwork by François-Louis Lanfant that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, 19th Century Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Retour Des Champs von François-Louis Lanfant zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.845,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Le Retour Des Champs das teuerste Kunstwerk von François-Louis Lanfant, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
