In April 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Important Old Master Paintings Part II, which included the work Portrait of a lady, seated three-quarter-length, in a white silk dress and embroidered shawl, holding a book by François Henri Mulard. The »bidding war« ended at USD 16,800.00 (€ 12,298.68), 40% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François Henri Mulard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of A Gentleman, Identified As Jean-André Prosper Henri Le Page, Three-Quarter-Length, In A Green Jacket And Carrying A Rifle, In A Landscape, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 67,000.00 (€ 43,037.00).

Im April 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, seated three-quarter-length, in a white silk dress and embroidered shawl, holding a book von François Henri Mulard zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 16.800,00 (€ 12.298,68) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von François Henri Mulard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of A Gentleman, Identified As Jean-André Prosper Henri Le Page, Three-Quarter-Length, In A Green Jacket And Carrying A Rifle, In A Landscape beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 67.000,00 (€ 43.037,00) versteigert wurde.
