Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,115.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by François-Fortuné-Antoine Ferogio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Projet d'architecture in October 2002 with an auction result of EUR 5,875.00.

Die Arbeit Voyageurs Dans Un Paysage De Montagnes Enneigées von François-Fortuné-Antoine Ferogio kam im Februar 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.115,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François-Fortuné-Antoine Ferogio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Projet d'architecture im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.875,00.
