Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The court musicians by François Brunery was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2007. The price achieved of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 106,844.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by François Brunery - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le pont d'amour, which sold at auction in March 2001 for GBP 256,750.00 (€ 414,291.85).

Für andere Arbeiten von François Brunery mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le pont d'amour beobachtet, die im März 2001 für GBP 256.750,00 (€ 414.291,85) versteigert wurde.
